Facts about EMPEROR PENGUINS:

1. They're monogamous. For 8 months. Then they go back to their slutty ways.

2. They would make fantastic sleds.

3. The little ones like to hang out on the weird gnarly claws of its parents.

4. Sometimes the little ones die. Or don't get born at all. Which is sad.

5. The penguin kiss, though beak-y, is remarkably tender. And then someone throws up in someone else's mouth, and the moment is over.

6. They would be good at yoga. Well, the bending over and the balancing eggs on your feet parts. Not the lifting your leg high in the air parts.

I'd like to see a penguin get a foot behind it's head.

I am still waiting for my penguin that I ordered on http://www.penguinwarehouse.com/index.php. Hopefully it shows up soon.

7. Most of their monogamous 8 months together is spent in a long-distance relationship. And without communicating with their mates.

8. If the little one dies, the penguin in charge of monitoring the egg mourns the loss and then go its separate way. No "Dear John" letter to its mate. The other penguin discovers the news upon its return to the mating site.

I think penguins have some sort of agenda. I don't know exactly what they're planning, but they're planning SOMETHING. You can see it in their beady little eyes.

So did you like it?
I love it.
I put it in for my kids when Mommy needs some "quiet time". (aka.... naptime!)

I LOVED it. I might go watch it again right now. Matt might have to start following your example, Kelly, and firing it up when he needs to get work done so I don't bother him!

I loved March of the Penquins. But they really need to think about hanging out somewhere slightly warmer.
