This is What I Wore to Work Today:

It's obvious I have no regard for either proper work attire or the fact that it's winter.

You can't really tell, maybe this picture is better, but that skirt is covered with sequins and tassels.

And these shoes... Well, they're not exactly made for winter, but, well...

The good news is my boss' boss' boss told me she liked my skirt. And my boss' boss told me that I was very sparkly, and always bring sparkle to the department.

The bad news is that John said that it looked like a chandelier had thrown up on my shoes. And Julie said I looked "all flamenco and tropical, but goth."

But the one that people seemed to like the most, and gravitate towards, was that I was dressed like Stevie Nicks.

I think tomorrow I'm going to go for Cyndi Lauper.

actually that outfit is pretty spiffy if you don't mind me saying.

and at least the skirt is long ... that's wintery.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but DAAAAMN GIRL!

Pardon my crudeness.

This is actually unfair, us doing battle whilst your picture is the first thing people see. I can not compete with such beauty.

You, madam, are adorable. As is the ensemble.

Such a cute outfit. I usually wear whatever is visible atop the piles of clothes on my floor, as long as it's marginally unwrinkled and clean.

Marcia, You are adorable, as usual.

The outfit is super cute, and the shoes... well the only way the shoes could be hotter is if they were pink... but then they wouldn't go so well with the outfit.

The lady at the post office loved it, so that's all that matters.

I make it a general rule never to compare anyone's appearance to Stevie Nicks unless I see actual cocaine powder around the nostrils.

But Marcia, I hope you paired this with a colorful handbag, because I'm troubled by the lack of PINK in this ensemble.

Those shoes are gorgeous. I have that skirt in blue. I wear it all the time.

I heart your outfit. Anytime pretty people wear things to draw attention to themselves, I totally approve. Bravo, my dear!

Kimora Lee Simmons says in her Fabulosity book that you should never wear skirts like that. I think she may have been high when she wrote that.

That Stevie Nicks pic was hilarious!
Love the shoes....
This, by now, should go without saying.

Marcia, I stand by my assessment that you looked like Stevie Nicks. Seriously, you were one long, fringy scarf away from spinning around and around in a circle while belting out Rhiannon. Not that that would be a bad thing. In fact, it would totally rock if you did that. Maybe you can get Matt to dress up like Lindsey Buckingham.

Just imagine what John and Julie would have to say about me wearing that same skirt!
Ridiculous I say...
wear what you want, I do ;)

I just wanted to ask you if you can fly when you click your sequined heels together?

LOL Your outfit reminds me of a Nick Gilder song, Marcia. Hot Child in the City.
