Well.

Last night I went to a fun party. And a guy showed up in flip flops. And I thought about it, and... it was warm enough. 65. Pretty darn nice. So, this morning, I didn't go all the way to flip flops, but I wore little open shoes.

And it snowed.

Yeah, I've been wearing flipflops lately too! (but then I was in NC and NOLA for three of the past four weeks)

Purrty feet lil' lady.

Mine are purrtier though 'cause mine have hair on them.

Don't be jealous.

That's my luck, too. Oh, I'm reading On Beauty as well. I love Zadie Smith. I think she's a remarkable writer.

Ahhhhhhh cursed flipflops. I do not fully understand them. But apparently they were the in thing this last June for Wedding wear.

Oh.... Hello, Michele sent me. :)

Hell, I live in Chicago, and I wear flip flops until there's snow on the ground!

And as soon as the snow melts I''ve got them right back on!

(And for work, I'm always sporting high-heeled mules... which are easy to get on and off like flip flops!)

Open shoes, huh? Maybe that's what I need to do to get it to feel more like winter around here. (Michele sent me)

I'm from San Francisco. It could be raining, windy and 40 degrees outside and we're all wearing down feather, Northface parkas, but by God we've got our Reef flip flops on like they're going out of style!
