Does Anyone Else Find the Easter Bunny Vaguely Sinister?

The fact that my self-imposed Lenten shopping ban is coming to an end is starting to eat at my brain! I almost feel that shopping is like an Olympic sport, and now I'm out of shape. Will I be able to find amazing bargains ever again? I might have to go through a rigorous re-training program.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should break this shopping fast, come Monday?

Did you give up online browsing as well? I find that browsing online helps prepare me for a shopping trip because then I know what's in the stores. And btw, I expect LOTS of good shoes next week :)

I agree with the online browsing. I even go as far as placing online items in my 'shopping bag' and then never checking out. But that's just because I never have any money.

Me too on the online browsing, though I end up online shopping instead of browsing--it's a great way to blow all the money from the self-inposed lent!

I don't know but there's a Versace bottlestopper on Clearance at Bluefly that's screaming my name!

i say a regimen of 25 min of cardio and light weights should do the trick.

you'll be a lean, mean shopping machine in no time.

Go to Sephora and buy loads of lip gloss and then go buy some shoes. That's how I'd do it.

Omigod, kiki I do that too! Wow, we're pretty sad...

Oh, I don't know, Marcia, you could...er...um....GO BUY THE MAGICAL PINK ROSE RING FROM FREDFLARE.COM.

Go to Nordstrom, pronto! I was just there yesterday and saw palest-mauve wedges that practically screamed, "Marcia, buy us... but hide the receipt."

You might want to "strech out" a bit in the next few days by checking out overstock.com, bluefly.com, or other places full of bargains, just to get you used to shopping again - but without actually buying anything.

Not to be Captain Obvious, but you could always buy another pair of pink shoes.

BUY SHOES! One pair of beautiful, drop dead gorgeous SHOES. It's a must, the only PROPER way to end your ban on shopping.
