Last summer Matt was in New York, working at a law firm, and I was in St. Louis, stressing and planning the wedding. I went to visit him one weekend - I got in very late (10pm), and he surprised me with flowers, pink shoes, and dinner at a fabulous French restaurant. Because I love flowers, pink shoes, and fancy French food.
Later on that trip, I bought these at a little street fair. I should have bought more than one pair - but I was afraid I wouldn't love them like I do.
And... they don't have distinct right and left shoes. They're Unisex. Or Unifoot. Or Uni... something.
Their cute hand-made-ness makes me smile.

Those shoes are pretty cool. Almost as cool as sloths. I mean let's face it, it's hard to find something as cool as sloths.

Arg! I have searched far and wide (well...Old Navy and Macy's) for cute red flats. If only I could schlep my way to NY I'd surely find a kicky pair as well!
