Admission:

It's official. I'm obsessed again.

Project Runway has started its 3rd season.

In celebration, I made a necklace out of paperclips, with gold paperclip accents.

I may have watched the season premiere TWICE. Because... well, the first time, you don't see everything. You know, "I love the blue dress, and the coffee filter dress, but who made them?" or, "I hate Malan, and Neck-Tattoo Man. What's Neck-Tattoo Man's name??"

The best part? I watched it with Liz, over IM.

I already have some opinions. But I'm not certain yet. I love that Laura, who has 5 kids, dresses up every day, "because it's a slippery slope to a minivan and wearing sweats put of the house." I want to remember that.

And certain designers, like Brandon, you know aren't going to last long. And you cheer for them to go.

Can you believe that Robert has never made a dress before? I would wear anything he made for me.

So. Do you watch? What do you think? Who do you love? Or hate?

Want to watch the next episode over IM with me next week? My IM name is on my profile. I can't wait.

We had this conversation over IM.

I too am obsessed, and I'm glad I have a discussion buddy to interact with while the show is on... and if anyone wants to im with me too, we can have a three-way...

Oh, get your head out of the gutter... We know that Marcia isn't a 55 year old black male porn star named Luther!

I'm no fashionista so I won't be watching this. But I do look forward to future Project Runway posts so you can drop the fashion knowledge.

Question the first, are any of the guy designers not gay?

MARCIA-

I love PR...I am a diehard Jay fan from Season 1, nobody will ever compare, however I do have to watch a few more before I decide who my favorite is.

All I know is I found myself standing on the couch screaming, "Take the bathtub! Take the MF-ing BATHTUB!!!" during the apartment raid.

Because how fun would it be to make a dress out of coffee filters knowing that if it didn't work out you could simply ask that frail hungry model to carry a bathtub on her back?!

Me? Also obsessed.

I loved Michael's coffee-filter dress and Robert's awesome West Side Story-inspired dress. I've seen Jeffrey's Costa Nostra (sp?) work in "In Style"... can't say I'm very impressed after last night.

I too liked the coffee filter dress. Also the one by the really young girl that everything looks like a snowboarding with the hood. And the architect who looks almost like a model herself. A german model

So my friend Rachel is freaking obsessed with this show, and we had almost plans to watch it together last night, contingent upon me getting out of work. Suffice to say that didn't happen, and I worked through it, so I have still yet to see an episode - partly because: NO CABLE! The bane of my Project Runway almost obsession.

You know, I love that quote from Laura. She's right.

I have nothing funny to contribute here, so everyone just try to imagine me getting kicked in the crotch or something.

I have one thing to say to you Marcia...when are we going to see Q on it?

Okay so I just started watching it this season and I tivo'd it and watched it a couple hours ago. I AM SO HOOKED and there is a lot of things I'd let Robert do.

I LOVED the coffee filter dress and the one with the bows if the bows were even.

My one disagreement is I don't like Liz. She's very Elizabeth Taylor, only NOW. Tacky and over the top. I can't believe she has 5 kids though. I like that part.

Correction : KEITH has never made a dress, not Robert. Robert's the (relatively humorous) one who's been piddling with Barbie.

How could you make that mistake? Keith is the hottest piece of dick on the show. Seriously, how? Psh.

Also, -- attention, v! -- he might even be hetero. What's up with that? Both the boyfriend and I hissed "Boo!" at the television upon realizing this.

And everybody with a healthy mind hates Malan (and should).

I'm so excited about this season! You can already tell that the designers, as a group, are way more talented than in the previous seasons. I hate Neck Tatto guy so so so much. I think he does special excercises to make his neck look all broad and UGLY.

Summer TV is redeemed!

Logan - Damn it! You're right! So the fabulous BLUE dress was the one that had never made a dress before. Hell. I'm no good. That's why I have you.

I LURVE Keith. Egomania and all. As soon as I saw his first draping of that blue dress, I said outloud "He's my favorite."

I just posted my review of the runway this morning because yesterday I was too busy actually doing the work they pay me to sit here and do!

I don't IM or I would watch with the rest of you guys. Maybe I'll have to rethink that no IM-ing position.

I don't have TV!!! I loved the first Project Runway (which is the only one I got to see - has there been others?). If I "watch" it over IM with you, will you give me a play by play?? Hee Hee.

Ah! So so excited it's back again. I've been craving me some Project Runway. I love Tim Gunn, "Make it work people!" Wasn't it hysterical when Santino started imitating him last season? It also made me like him. Loved Laura's blue coat and the coffee filter dress, too - I would totally wear that dress.
