So, the pair of jeans that the Princess in Galoshes sent me to turn into a skirt had a beaded pocket on the back. And since it it didn't really go with the skirt.... I took it off. And turned it into a little clutch/wallet thing. Check it out:
And... the back, with the aforementioned beading:
And, the inside, which I think is the cutest part:
I want to make lots of them. Hell, I just want to make one more for me, because I sent this one, with the skirt, to Cat. What do you all think?
It's so cute! (Even better than the pictures.) And functional! I loved it almost as much as I loved the skirt. I'm taking it out, tonight, when we go to The City. (I realize I live in The City... and The City is Denver. But it sounds more glamorous when I say it that way.)
Observations and thoughts about life as seen through the eyes of a 20 something girl - this is the point where I'm supposed to say something like "making her way in the big city" but that's not true or "trying to leave her mark on the world" but also, not true who is actually making her way in the big city, and has been since August 2007. It's just me, my life, and my psychosis - and a lot of pictures of food, shoes, and sternums.

So very cute!! How did you do the stitching? Is is just the visible thick stitching the front and back together?
I love these! They are so great!
VERY cute!
Dang Marcia! You're on fiyah.
Check out www.nakedartgallery.com. We went last night and they have tons of stuff like this. You're an artiste!
OK, that is just super cute!
Craftiness and cuteness abounds.

Nice! By the way, I liked how the pocket looked sans pocket on the skirt. Did that make sense?
Wow. That's pretty amazing. Now turn my pair of jeans into a snowboard.
Of COURSE you must make more. :-)
