Guess What I Brought Back From New York City?

A fabulous, fun, knock-me-on-my-ass cold! YAY!

Probably because I've been traveling every weekend since Thanksgiving (and I wouldn't want to give up any of the trips - they were awesome). And frankly, I need a break. And I think I'm getting them. Because they postponed my work training until this Monday. Supposedly.

BUT.
I brought something else back from NYC. Something that hasn't been seen for a while here on TPS. NEW SHOES.

Urban Sneaks!

I call them my Urban Sneakers, and I intend to wear them any time I need to be not wearing heels, yet I'm not working out.

(And yeah, um, I don't really work out. So that's most of the times that I need to be comfortable while wearing shoes. But. Soon I'm moving to a city where I might have to walk 100 blocks a day. And it's possible that I bought these after I walked 80 blocks in heels. Which was my choice. I could have taken a cab, or the subway, but I wanted to get to know the city. And my feet didn't hurt. Until the next day. When I bought the cute new shoes. But I totally could have kept with the other shoes. But these were just too cute. Too cute, I told you.)

(Also, I went out with my old roommate Jane and our friend Kat. And I'll post pictures. Tomorrow. When I'm fully over my cold. As opposed to tonight, when I'm "better," but I'm coughing into my port.)

Diesels are my FAVORITES. I've had a pair for five years that still get me, "Are those new?" comments. I haven't seen a pair in a while that I loved, but I love those. Would you be mad if I got the same ones?? 'Cause even though you are the Pink Shoe, some of us also love the color pink. And turquoise.

Nice treads. And isn't it wine for the flu and tequila for a cold?
