"Friday flowers!" he said.
"Friday flowers?" I asked. "Does this mean that I'll get flowers every Friday?"
"Don't push your luck. And I'm not naive enough to fall for that one. If I forget one Friday, I'll be in trouble. So let's just see how long these ones last."
It's Friday again, and last week's flowers are about to be thrown out...
PS: Don't they look like the flowers he got me for Valentine's Day in 2006? I love love love banana flowers, and I don't know why.

God bless your lovely new husband (and yes, I still think of him as your 'new' husband!).
I bet he's still buying you occasional Friday Flowers in forty years..
Mar-see-ah, I need your help at the Palace :-)

What a wonderful husband!
Why do you call 'em banana flowers? They used to grow everywhere in Grenada. People there called 'em ginger root or something like that... 'can't remember, ginger something... not banana.
Oh, and yes, they are purdy.
OH! Can I you give Matt The Funasaurus' phone #, maybe he can give him some tips!
Lucky girl....
Friday flowers are TOTALY an Israeli thing!!!!!! everyone buys flowers on Fridays!!!!
You are so lucky. The only time I get flowers is when I have a kid. And then it's only when I have a girl. Which has been once.
