The House is Finally Coming Together:

Living Room

New awesome comfortable red couch? CHECK.
Painting Matt gave me as an early birthday present hung on the wall? CHECK.
New throw pillows from CB2 bought on my lunch break? CHECK.

Seriously, I love this quail pillow so much that I've been working on coming up with a name for the quail.

Funny note: the closet in that back corner? It doesn't open. Too much paint over the years and it's too humid - it opened when we first saw the place in late April. When the humidity lessens, I'm going to open it and strip the top of the door. I've already got the paint stripper. I'm not too concerned about it. But every single one of my friends when they come over? They play the game "Open the Closet" and get really frustrated about not winning.

I love the painting, tell me about it. It looks like a hard line black and white study done in acrylic. How big is it and who is the artist?

I don't know how you can stand not being able to open it. I would be going crazy with a variety of sharp instruments until I could get it open. Patience must be a virtue reserved for only the elite such as yourself.
