I'm saving that rant about the passport office for when I have more perspective and my migraine goes away. Right now it'll come out as "They're MEAN. And INCOMPETENT. And all I wanna do is go to PARIS." And no one wants to read that.
Instead, I'll show you how nice people are to me.
Check out this package my mom sent me!
She knows how to make me happy, even before I open it up... pink paper and a pink ribbon. And I'm fairly sure that the ribbon is from a gift I got for my wedding, so that makes me even happier.
And then, one of the things inside were these note cards. You can't really tell from my shoddy camera work, but it says, "you're one of a kind" And it's PINK. And there's a SHOE on it. But I should really work on that "hold the camera steady while you snap the photo" thing. Or the "take more than 2 pictures, because you can't tell on the little LCD screen, but one of your photos is blurry and the other is too flashy" thing.
Along the same theme, a friend gave me this cute notebook. Again, notice the themes, PINK and SHOE. Also, I didn't crop it as tightly as I usually would, because, notice the shoe that I'm wearing today! They really are delightfully adorable. I felt like a princess, and didn't mind that much that it was frickin' cold outside, because I was wearing Cleopatra shoes.
And now, I promise no "shoe" posts until the new year. Because there've already been 2 this month, and 3 in the past 30 days. And that's a lot.
... unless, of course, my adoring public wants them.
