The top one is a model. The bottom one SHOULD be a model, but even though the fashion world begged and begged, she said, "No! The publishing world needs me more!"
yeah, at least you have a sexy stomach like the model.
umm, those pointy pink shoes look like weapons. you must be undercover CIA like Sydney(sp?) Bristow.
oh yeah, the other reason I'm here ... we should start a blog book club sometime in the future ... well if other bloggers are interested ... or at least a blog post ring of book reviews.
maybe i should've emailed this instead of leaving it as a comment. oh well, too late.
The jeans. Hot. The shoes. Even hotter. The book club. Sounds like a good idea. If you guys want a Mom to be part of your reviewing club I would gladly oblige! Of course, having a Mom in the club may knock a few cool points off of it....
jeans and heels look hot! jeans and sandals look kind of dumpy (but are comfortable). Yes, you could be a model. But now that you're in publishing, can you help me get my book published (just kidding).
I just discovered the jeans at NY & Company (they look identical to the ones pictured); and they're a decent price (they're almost always on sale too). But they make their sizes in Petite (that's what I have to get), Average, & Tall. That way, they'll always fall at the right length. Also, I like that they call it 'petite' & not 'short'.
Liz - I totally wore the pink shoes because you told me to :)
TG8 - I AM an undercover spy. Damn you for blowing my cover!
Kat - yeah, they were long with the 1 inch heels, so I wore them with 4 inches today... and they rocked :) and the color's more acurate in the model pic, but... well, I liked the "auto fix" of the color because it made my stomach look tan
blog portland - you'd think the model would know better, right?
sage - unless it's a dental textbook, I'm of no help in your publishing endeavors
Yllw - love NY&Co... but these ones are Theory!
Ginger - I'm jealous of your blog header!
And everyone who commented about the bookclub - I'm totally in. I think we should all blog on our blogs about the books we read and then ... well, we're all blogfriends, so be sure to read those entries on each other's blogs and comment on them!
Marcia, I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to begin a dental textbook, but my sidekick Nevada Jack would like to query your publishing company with an idea he has that might be helpful to those sadistic guys and gals who like to stick their hands and all kinds of sharp objects into our mouths... His proposed title is "101 Things Not to Say During a Root Canal"
Looks like I'll need to go back posting book reviews (i use to do this but few people seemed interested and since I often do it in my personal journal, I could easily resume the practice)
Observations and thoughts about life as seen through the eyes of a 20 something girl - this is the point where I'm supposed to say something like "making her way in the big city" but that's not true or "trying to leave her mark on the world" but also, not true who is actually making her way in the big city, and has been since August 2007. It's just me, my life, and my psychosis - and a lot of pictures of food, shoes, and sternums.

I agree on the pink heels...man I need those shoes!
And I'm in on the book club...
you're ridiculous
Woah....tg8....a book club? Now I know you're gay. Just kidding. I'm in.
Marcia, the jeans look awesome. A wee bit long and the blue looks different than the pic, but they look great.
The jeans are hot on you! And yay for the book club.

Hottie McHot!
I vote for the pink heels as well. The sandals that model is wearing are so 2005.
Marcia, I am platonically in love with you!

Love the jeans and the shoes....just like everyone else. And, I'm in on the bookclub as well.
Almost.
I bet you have nice booty though.
And pink shoes are sure a way to get guys' attention. That if they even notice shoes from that body?

YOu are totally a model!
I love this. Great post. Gotta hand it to ya, the pink shoes rule!
I would kill for the jeans, the figure, and the shoes!!
I love that I've found another person who loves pink shoes as much as I do!!
I hate jeans and sandals... the second belly rocks! It's tighter than a wedding day virgin.
