I'm so sad - I just broken a piece of our everyday wedding china.
It was the gravy boat. I'd never had a gravy boat before, and I rather liked this one. And no, the handle is not reattachable, it's in about 500 pieces. I would have taken a picture of that, too, but I cleaned it up before I thought about it.
But a new one was only $35 online.

Marcia, I've told you before, and I'll tell you again, YOU ARE NOT A LOSER!
You are just clumsy.
If all clumsy oafs are losers, then I'll be right there with you, hanging out with a broken gravy boat.
Hey, things happen. At least it's replaceable.
~I'm a big fan of both pink and shoes...
cute blog!
We you will have a story to tell about the new one. Not as posh, but I was buying a replacement cereal bowl yesterday.
rashbre
It might be wedding china, but you can get another one; don't worry about it.
Michele sent me here.
Awe, that's too bad. We decided with our wedding china to take it all back to the store and get everyday things instead.
It's great you can replace it rather inexpensively.
I'm just glad you can replace it!
I think a gravy boat IS necessary, at least occasionally.
I feel sad for you, I broke a cup that my hubby bought me in Canada when I was collecting interesting china, I am still "miffed".
~sigh~
Hope things are looking up, and I WOULD def. buy another one.
Ebay! :o)
You could still use it around the home. Just use mittens or something to carry it around.
Use the new piece only when guests come for dinner.
