I've Got To Get That Last Post Off the Top Of the Page

Because it's disturbing people, mainly my husband, and frankly, I think all of you who want to comment on it have actually commented on it. And I've responded to all you who had questions in the comments, because Damn! It's fun to talk about sick Marcia.

Almost as much fun as talking about Marcia's Fun Weekend Plans.

1) Lunch with Aileen, one of my bridesmaids, who's moving cross country and happens to be in St. Louis for lunch on Friday. We have plans to both be, in 5 years, married to completely successful husbands, freelancing for InStyle (after a few years of working in-house for them), while taking our children for walks in Central Park together. Our children who will then grow up and marry each other.

2) Law Journal Ball Friday night. With a pretty new dress (which I got for $20 just after Christmas). And a gold purse that my team gave me for my birthday. And hopefully the New and Improved Marcia: Now With No Puking! will show up. Because we think that the old Marcia is LOSER and want nothing to do with her.

Well, that should be changed to Marcia's Fun Friday Plans, because that's all I've got. But seriously, a ball and lunch with an old friend? That's a fabulous week, much less a weekend!

And did I rub that in enough times? I'm going to a BALL tomorrow. Like Cinderella, but I'll stay out past midnight.

Sounds like a fabulous weekend, honey! All I have going are volleyball tryouts, work, a hair appointment, and a pirate party.

Casual pirate attire required.

Have fun in your pumpkin on your way to the ball!

Have fun at the ball! I'm sure you have some appropriately fabulous shoes to keep up the Cinderella comparison. (Just remember that Aunt Flo and red wine do not mix!)

ooh, Have a fabulous time!

Wait, really about 'Aunt Flo' & red wine? I was told a glass (or two) helps. I also heard that eating fish helps.

WTF? Aileen is moving CROSS-COUNTRY and that beyotch didn't tell me?!

P.S.: I love it when you use loser as an adjective. And I wish I were at a ball. Instead, I'm home alone. Sad.

WOW, a real ball? How cool! I hope you take pictures in your fancy dress & share them with us. Could I be the nanny to your child please? I can even fake an English accent if you'd like. :)

Have a great time you lucky ducky. I WANT pictures.

Did I mention how jealous I am, cause I am. I may go see Ice Age 2, that's how cool I am. ~wink~

I could come and nanny your child - and I don't have to fake an English accent :-)

Mary Poppins is real - and she's right here.......

I am soooooooooo confused. Why would Aileen quit her fabulous job where she got Juicy for like $5 and move across country?!? Does she get better sample sales on the west coast?
