Things Haven't Changed Much:

"Mar," I hear, "I want you to post again."

DAMN. My husband is worse than my readers! Demanding more. So here it is. Something. Up on the internet.

But I'm busy! Kat and I have both been editing Fetch pieces all day, as the launch of the magazine is rapidly approaching. Not that either of us are freaking out.

Also - I've had a sneak peak at the design of the magazine website? INTENSELY good.

Tonight, though, I get to meet Matt's boss for the year at a BBQ. I'm a little nervous, but since I've been hanging out with his future coworkers all week and they don't hate me yet... I have faith. But I still get nervous.

And Akron is fun. I've been up to Peninsula for beers and wings with the boys (and a run in with a pack of raccoons), and over to Cuyahoga Falls for Italian (The waitress called us drunks: "You realize that a carafe of wine is eight glasses" she chided us when we ordered, and I replied, "Yes, there are 3 of us." But what I should have said was, "Eight glasses? Then we'll need two carafes.")

If I only meet some girlfriends soon, I'll be set.

(The job search starts tomorrow. Scary.)

And just think : if you'd ordered three carafes, it would have divided out evenly.

Hooray for job searches! But raccoons? Avoid them. And sex the man up REAL GOOD every day prior to any day that you might come across them again 'cos they might attack and eat you. [True 'dat, babe.]

I want to hear more about the raccoon run in. I assume they weren't running around the restaurant?

Ah! Good luck on your job search! I will be sending you muy positivo vibes! I'm driving home from Cali today, JUST THINK, I'll be closer to AkVegas which means that the vibes won't take as long. I totally should write a law. Like Einstein.

Dude.

And um, can't wait to see the design.

Didnt this blog used to have pictures or something? Hah, j/k.

Anyway, good luck with the job search ... i'm sure it will go smoothly.

And are you really going to leave us hanging on the raccoon story? Or maybe it was just a run in with a pack of raccoons.

I was just wondering the other day what was up with Fetch (which, incidentally, is also the name of an FTP client for Macs, but that's kind of a nerdy thing for me to know).

Can't wait to read it!
