Lonely / Happy

Matt's out of town until Wednesday.

Last night, laying in bed, I thought about what I posted last time he was out of town.

It hasn't gotten any easier.

And, while looking up that last link? I realized I was wearing the same jeans as I am in that other post.

Apparently, when I'm lonely, I think that Antik Denim will make it all better.

It works.

But so does GChating with Lindz, Summer, and Vaguely Urban. (And, in the interest of full disclosure, also JargonScout's wife. And John. God, I'm such a Gchat whore.)

And... I also set up a pretty awesome job interview today. For a month from tomorrow. Which was the earliest they could see me, but I'm excited.

As congratulations? I'm forcing myself to go out for coffee, and hang out at the coffee house for a FULL hour tomorrow.

Why is it so much harder to pick up friends than it is to pick up men?

Antik Denim does cure a lot of ills.

Because men have the drive to "get to know you." Friends have to be lured in by more than a nice ass :-)

I've been having the scariest nightmares since the Mr's been on nights. Last night I dreamed I was drugged and kidnapped by some looneys, but then I kind of escaped, and I was running away and trying to hail a cab. But all of the cabs were full and everyone else was trying to hail a cab too. I woke up so disturbed. I hate sleeping alone.

In any case, have fun at the coffee house. You will make friends soon enough, because anyone who has the chance to meet you loves you!!! XOXO

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets freaked out about being alone at night...the mister now works a few nights a week and I too have the nightmares of looneys breaking into my apartment. Hang in there Marcia!!!!! And I'm sending happy thoughts for the coffee shop :)

I'm glad that it cheered you to take my GChatting virginity.

Here's hoping you spot a cool, smarty, un-bitchy and receptive at coffee.

I respond the same way when the boy's out of town... on the other hand... sometimes it's really nice to stretch just a little extra (go for the horizontal, it's fabulous!) without running in to any hairy legs.

Mmmm. stretching.

Oh Mars, just be your cute, charming self and people will be asking to be your friend. Go take a yoga class, that's a good place to meet woman.

Seriously, finding friends can be tough. The yoga class suggestion by e-liz seems like a great idea. Hmm, maybe a bookstore? I dunno, clearly I'm no good at this. If you find any friend making secrets let me know.

So... umm... I read this once in some science book. It said that women have these odors that they give out.

Not that you are odorific.

Gosh no.

Yeah, so - they have these these scents that men are utterly capitvated by.

They can't even help themselves when they smell them. Like bugs to light.

Not that men are bugs either.

But I think that's what's going on.

From a scientific point of view.
