Dill Better Be Careful - It's On the Line, Too.

I've decided that I'm done with Tarragon.

It's gross, and I just don't like it.

Well I highly doubt I've ever cooked with it, but that has more to do with the fact that I don't cook.

Um....I have the desire to taste Tarragon now.

Does your mother-in-law know pink shoes are representations of pink triangles and what do pink triangles represent? We do, and I'm sure you do, as well. I'll bet you're keeping those pink shoes in the closet...

I thought it was purple triangles.

But anyway, Marcia, I really like it when you take a stand on important issues like tarragon.

Oh no... tarragon is fab with fish. I swear! You just need to use it sparingly. Yuuuummmmmyyyy (wow, it's been forever since I've commented, and I pick this? I'm special. Congrats on Akron turning out to be a cool place, btw.)

This may seem random has you have no idea who I am or what I can do, buuut....I think Tarragon is an exceptional herb that deserves it's place in the hearts of millions....

I'm okay with Tarragon, but I'm with you on the Dill. Ever since Beavis or Butthead called someone a Dillweed, I haven't been able to reach for it without thinking of them.

and that really spoils a nice cooking experience, as you can imagine.

I'm actually a big fan of dill. It's one of the few spices that I actually use, but not tarragon...I can't think of any point in my life where I would think "you know what this needs...tarragon."

Yeah. Fuck tarragon.

This makes me very sad. I think you'd change your mind about tarragon if you tried my recipe for chicken and asparagus w/ creamy Dijon mustard sauce.

Not a big fan either. Just give me rosemary!

I am officially obsessed with dill. It is perfect in scrambled eggs, on salmon and in hummus. Don't give up on it!

It's not high on my list, either. Now, please, where do you stand on the always-divisive cilantro?

(I feel I became an adult the day I developed a taste for it.)

Wow. Who knew dill and tarragon were so controversial. Another reason why I stop by The Pink Shoe. To learn something new.

That rhymed. Which means I'm dope. Do the kids even use the term "dope" in a good way anymore? Wow this is random.

Fin.

I like the fact that such a simple post got such a strong response! I, however, have no opinion.
