Princess in Galoshes Skirt

So, I finished another skirt, for the lovely Princess in Galoshes. You know the drill. So check out the pictures.

And the detail:

And on the Flickr page, there are pictures of the back, the other side, and the rip detail.

Making the rip detail was actually pretty scary for me - the skirt that I made for the Fluid Pudding already had a rip, so filling it in with some fabric wasn't that big of a deal. But actually cutting a skirt that didn't have a rip in it? That was hard. Where to cut, how big to make it, what direction to cut in... all of that tormented me for days. But I really like it.

(Remember. If you want a skirt, all you have to do is email me at marseeah(at)gmail(dot)com, and we can work something out!)

How did you do the stamp things? Do share. Oh, I can't wait until I start working and I get to make an order!!

I love this one! Well, I like them all, but I love the soft colors.

Would one follow the same process to say... order a kilt?
