Happy Birthday to Me!!

I'm officially OLD. 26. Now I'm closer to 50 than I am to birth.

But, on the bright side, there are presents.

The best of which?

Matt is bringing me, next weekend, to the Cleveland Orchestra. Which was named by the New Yorker as the finest orchestra in America.

But, best of all? It's a DATE. I get to dress up (and you know how I like that), we get to go out to eat, and we get to be cultured. I can't wait.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Actually, officially you are now in your twenty-seventh year. Depressing isn't it? I just went into my twenty-ninth year myself (meaning I am 28).

Have fun at the Orchestra and a great birthday weekend!

If you were going to buy a golf club, you wouldn't walk into a store and buy the first one you see, would you? Of course not; especially if you want to improve your golf game! You'll want to hold the club, take some practice swings, hit some balls if the store has a practice spot, and look at the price, of course. If you are considering buying running shoes, you need to go through a similar process and take the time to find the perfect shoe.

I don't know what Shoe Stretchers up there is babbling on about, but he should have at least wished you a happy birthday and offered you a discount as a gift!

That's what I would have done if I were Shoe Stretchers... But I'm not, so I'll just wish you the very happiest of birthdays, and let that be the end of it!

Happy birthday, you!!
And 26 is not old.
I don't really believe that, but I want to, because one day really soon, I will be turning that myself.
Deep breaths.

Happy day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I read this on my cell phone and tried to comment, but apparently blogger and my phone don't communicate well.

I hope you had a great day and I doubly hope you have a great year.

And. If YOU are old, then what am I?
