Yeah, I couldn't keep that up. Even though we move in 8 days.
I did this:
A shadow box of a lot of the crap that Matt got when he ran the Cleveland Half Marathon, and the pictures I took while he ran.
I told him that it was OK that I was crafting, as I was actually cleaning up the pile of momentos from that day, right?
The best thing, though, is that Matt loves it - and every time he tells me that, I get a big smile on my face.

The thought of doing something like that scares the crap out of me. It looks so simple and easy, but I know it would take me 8 hours, a lot of tears, and it would still not look anywhere close to that good. You continue to impress me, my friend.
That's awesome! and I do think it counts as cleaning up the pile of momentos. Glad he loves it :) and Christie - dont fel bad, I feel the same way about budgeting...
You and your creativity are ridiculous. My last attempt at a shadow box looked like a big pile of poo.
that looks terrific! i love crafting...but haven't much time or enough "significant" events to craft about. i recently did my first full scrapbook..and I loved doing it - can't wait to do more or the same/try shadow boxes
Where did you get your shadow box? I want to do one with our honeymoon stuff, but I'm so picky and can't find one I like.
