If you buy 4 prints on the street in
Paris in the snow, for €2 each, while on your honeymoon, on New Year's Eve, and then spend an obscene amount of money (I was going to post how much, but really, it's
that embarrassing, I can't even tell you, internet) framing them, they'll look awesome.
And, in case you need a refresher in Parisian Geography, clockwise from the top left, that's the Eiffel Tower, Sacré Coeur, the Champs-Elysées, and Notre Dame.
And, for the record, having nice framed art on my walls? Makes me feel like an adult.

Framed art on the wall makes me feel like a grown up too! Fortunately for me, when you pick up an art degree, out of necessity, you also happen pick up a thing or two about matting and framing, and thus save yourself a fortune in mounting and framing costs. And as a painter, I also save money on the art itself too!
(Your prints make me smile.)
I have a pile of frames and pictures that need to be done. Some day.
Yours look beautiful! :)
that's really pretty - awesome frames. and i know what you mean about feeling like an adult!
They look very sophisticated to me. I think you should tell people you painted them in Paris. During your transition from realist to impressionist.
nice art, I haven't been here for a while, it seems I always pay a lot more for framing than for the artwork too.
I couldn't post at V's site and saw that you had, so decided to come over here...
the look fantastic. and it does look very grown up!
I know I'm a snob, but I truly believe no person out of college should have a poster of any kind on their wall.
Good job!
I'm impressed. IF I ever actually go to the effort of hanging stuff on the walls, I usually just go buy cheap frames and do it myself. Not only because I'm cheap, but because I'm lazy, though fascinated, by all Martha Stewart-esque things. In a cheap, lazy sort of way.
I tried framing some pictorials from Hustler, but my therapist says that will just make me feel like an adult in a very un-Christian kind of way.
Hey sweetcheeks,
the fact that you emailed me makes me believe that you are still talking to me. The fact that you don´t reply to my replies let´s me either think that I said something wrong (how could I? ;) or that I am somehow on your spam list. Zee germans and spam? :)
Mind writing me another lovely line? Sorry for bothering everyone ;)
They are pretty. Love them.
Beautiful! Totally worth the price of the frames. They look great, all together, I never would have thought of that.
Wanna come decorate my house??
These do look fabulous. And just last week we finished hanging up some of the artwork I inherited from my parents' house-- lovely oil paintings (no, my parents didn't die, they just decided to decorate differently and weren't going to use the paintings). It's awesome. And, having just visited the Art Institute of Chicago, I want to get out the oils and paint something abstract. Ah. Memories of my GJHS humanities class!
very cool on the prints...we have almost the EXACT some prints (actually I think ONE of Sacre Coueur IS the same...LOL) that we got on the streets in paris for an INSANE amount of $.
