Yes, yes, yes, I promise to post pictures of my trip to Ohio for Christmas, including the freshly killed PHEASANTS I prepared for Christmas Eve (ew, but also, awesome!), fun presents, the dogs we all love, and sunsets.
But, as I'm leaving in 10 minutes to go spend New Year's in Vermont, I can't do it right now. And I haven't done it in the past few days because I've been preparing for Vermont - I think it's going to be a dozen people in the cabin for 5 days, and I've made 5 pints of salsa (quite spicy), 60 muffins (peach, blueberry lemon, strawberry orange, and chocolate pecan), and sausages and meatballs with marinara sauce.
Which I assume will all be consumed within 20 minutes of our arrival. But at least it's a start. With the amount of wine I'm assuming we'll consume while we're there, I'm sure I'll take some awesome pictures, too, which I'll then be delinquent in posting.
