Matt Turned 28 Today

And I made him a ridiculously good dinner:

Matt's Birthday Dinner

Huge shrimp that I quickly poached in water with a lot of garlic and salt, bone-in New York Strip Steaks, rare, a quick pan sauce made with balsamic, roasted red skin potatoes, and peas with pearl onions.

Oh yeah, and a 2002 French wine Matt picked up in Paris just before he came home last month.

It pretty much felt like my birthday, too.
